How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

That I did not have enough time to spend out your way
We as a family found everything to be more than good. The staff especially the lady at the reception desk was outstanding and nothing was too much for her to do. we had a meal on the Saturday night and that too was good and portions were good. Friendliness and efficacy all round including the security guard at the gate. I would definitely recommend sleep over accommodation to anybody. It is extremely affordable and extremely clean

The lack of Television and the WiFi wasn’t properly working during my stay
It’s closer to Kruger National Park. Good food. Nice and quiet facility. Spacious place.

It’s a very clean place conveniently located just outside the town of Hazyview. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Security is tight and the place itself it’s just beautiful

Couldn't call for room service, had to walk and go order at the reception all the time then someone will come and deliver the food in my room. Also there was noise from the next lodge, loud music on my last day of stay. No bins outside, wifi could be better and lastly i know its highly unlikely that anything can be done regarding the rooms being stand alones but you could hear people walking from the next room while sleeping since the rooms are built with planks".
The bed was comfortable, the staff was great, hot water throughout the day, close to a mall and kruger phabeni gate.

Two things to consider are : access ramp for disabled people and carports
I like the fact that the property is away from other residential areas. It felt peaceful. I would definitely recommend it. Kids beds helped a lot with little ones.

Can improve on guest management. On entering the property,tneres a aign againat loud music so when some guests played loud music from their car whilst sitting outside. I was advised.by staff that they would switch off music at 12pm. The guests switched it off 10pm so from. 7 to then, we couldn't rest.
Clean,comfortable and convenient use of space. The staff was friendly and it's also affordable. I would recommend the place to others.

I checked in around 18:00 however my room was not prepared.... Mirror in the bathroom is too high There is no TV thou it was not a big deal, because I left early everyday for attraction, really there was no time for TV Please include microwave and chair
The place very clean, comfortable bed with white clean linen. Esther, The lady at reception was so welcoming.... She even escorts me to the room

The entrance to the place is slightly off road and not the safest looking. The were some noisy neighbours and unfortunately the manager does not control the noise and loud music that persisted until quite late. Would have liked more food options.
The room is clean and neat. Comes with a fridge and braai facilities. Perfect for the budget it is intended for.

The place is very good but the problem was the noise yoh the whole night I think there was an event next door the place...just when we thought it was quiet around 4am... Some guest started playing the speaker out loud.
Almost everything only the noise was the problem. The area were it is situated.. The hospitality was perfect.
