Would have liked more tv channels and if the fireplace worked. Further everything else was fine.

We had a lovely stay, my son had a swimming gala. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent!! Will definitely stay here again with his next gala. The hotel and grounds are beautiful.

The pillows were very old and of cheap quality. Haven't been updated for a long time. The bathroom counter needs to be slightly updated.

The night staff were excellent and preempted moving our room due to a hot water problem.

It would have been nice if there were more channels available on the tv in the room. I found that there was minimal variety. It would also be great if the spa was operating.

The room didn't have the mini bar as stated in the advert, no sleepers and gowns, the carpet needed a bit more vacuuming, The TV channels are adverts, news and sports only, no movies, proper satellite channels needed like movie magic etc .

The service was great, the food was fantastic, helpful staff. Quiet place, very peaceful very beautiful.

Great value for money. Excellent facilities, staff, breakfast. Comfortable, large room with fantastic bathroom, and balcony. When we had a need e.g. extra tea bags / milk, it was fulfilled rapidly.

I liked everything, beautiful hotel but you can see the finishing is not 100% up to par but that's just being pedantic really. Otherwise couldn't fault them.

No kettle on check-in, only one bath towel (2 guests booked). Very noisy tv/ speaker blasting a man shouting repeatedly at 4am every morning seeming to come from security booth or staff accommodation waking us up.

The facilities are all “tired” and in need of a revamp. But everything worked and was comfortable. The “Spa” is no longer. The breakfast was yummy.

A very quiet and peaceful piece of paradise in the chaos and busyness that is Gauteng (Johannesburg) The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. Ask reception if you need a hairdryer. Daily room servicing which is a treat!

I didn't like having to wait for a robe and slippers in our room. And the fact that there was no soap. Only have one small bottle of body was which was not enough. We ordered room service, and there were ants all over the plates in the morning. I also did not enjoy the "cheesecake" I ordered from the restaurant. I was unable to eat it. The presentation was not the best. 2 pieces which did not even look like cheesecake and they looked like they were from 2 different cakes or tarts. And for the price I paid for it, I was VERY disappointed. I will never order it again.

Some of the things listed in the facility were not in my room and when the bathrobe was small and not soft/cozy, had to ask for bigger size bath towels. The ice rack in the fridge, shower were dirty for example. All I can say is please ask housekeeping to ensure the rooms are as neat as possible.

The staff was friendly, approachable ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Thando at reception and Sandile at the restaurant were exceptional in meeting our needs. Soft spoken and smiling faces made us feel at home. Big up to the chef and kitchen staff, I loved the breakfast.😄
