The staff at the reception talks too much on the phone about their personal life to a level that you can hear them and on arriyour room was dirty

There is no telephone in the room and the only form of communication is a WhatsApp line that only gets answered when you call the land line... The curtains n the carpet need cleaning

My room was not properly clean,to mention a few (shower door, sliding door had lots of 🕸️, ants mostly on the floor and the curtains were dirty.)

Exceptional property, good position, good size rooms - however very poorly maintained,,staff friendly but lack training in normal hotel day to day issues - this good be a very good hotel if facilities and staff issues were addressed.

The aircon was not working, room was very hot, and on night two when I showered at 5am in the morning, no towels in my room, could not call front desk, as the number was not noted on the telephone in the room.

Unfortunately it wasn't a good stay. The aircons never worked. We asked for ice and was told the machine was not working, so we must drive out and get our own. Then the uber service at hotel refused to assist us. The telephone in the room didn't work so we had to constantly walk to reception. Food at restaurant foe breakfast was terrible.

The were some items that where listed that I will find on the room but they were not there like 1.Kettle 2.Trash bin 3.Slippers 4.Bathrobe 5.Chocolate or Cookies 6.Fruits 7.Hairdryer 8.Private Bathroom The room was not exactly the one I choose or that was shown on the picture,the phone was not working so I had to walk to reception if I needed something.Wifi was not working in my room

I didn't like that on our arrival the reception service was not great as a result, we were not informed about the service that the hotel offer, things like how and where to book for the spa treatment and also, we were not given even Wi-Fi password. because of that service I received I couldn't even query regards to the room upgrade as I have booked for room with a Lake view, and it was confirmed but we were not given that room upgrade.

beautifully place well, clean and big rooms with elegant decor style, nice breakfast with a friendly staff at the restaurants. rooms were super clean and comfort beds. Dinner and breakfast were nice and well prepared.

The hotel was dirty , The doors, the carpet, bathroom , shower door, floors in the bathroom and the mirror. the curtains were dirty. i tried to adjust the shower head so the water can come out properly and the top of the head had nasty residue. They keep stuff to make team but no kettle. This was not value for money at all.I wanted to take more picture but i was just defeated. I will not be staying here ever again.

The lady that helped at the reception was nice. She really tried to help where she could.

I requested extra towles (4 x bath sheets and 4 time extra towls) / rob and slippers as per the book advert. Non were availabe. I eventaully found the delivery person at 4pm and was able to procure towels and rob myself

Early check in was acknoweledged, however, neither the room requested was availabe or ready upond arrrivle. Request for late check out was neither acknowledged or respoded to.

Absolutely everything

This is a great hotel from A to Z and will be my new go-to when visiting JHB. Close to the airport but away from all the noise and hassle of hotels right at the airport.
