Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaThe guy on duty was extremely rude and didn’t even know about our booking when we arrived. We needed 2 rooms and he only managed to assist us with 1 after leaving us waiting in reception for 1 hour. Our friends also needed a room which he couldn’t supply us with. He then called the security company to come and escort us out of the room saying we were too many people in 1 room but we had no choice as we offered to pay for another room. He then promised 7am the next morning my money would be refunded and it’s been 5 days and I still haven’t received anything

South Africawe ended up checking in very late only to find out that the AC remote did not work (even after switching the batteries from the TV remote - yes it didn’t have batteries) there was hair stuck on the drain from previous people (disgusting). Even cause our tyre to develop a bubble coz of the road getting there.

I was asked to pay an extra 450 for the romantic package and a room that I'd initially wanted. They only had 1 gown and no slippers in the room.

South AfricaThe staff let the place down big time. Staff are too laid back and were not showing interest in representing the hotel to a high standard. The check-out time was changed without prior notice and it not according to the time shown on Booking.com. The room did not have an aircorn remote. Tv remote did not have batteries. Lastly, cleaning staff did not replenish the coffee sachets, sugar and the cleaning stuff such as soap and shower gel. Overall, staff need extensive training and supervision.
The rooms were spacious and the balcony space is great.

South AfricaThe room guide said it would have a telephone and hair dryer. It didn’t have either. The air-conditioner didn’t work. The television had no movie channels, only adverts of a company called open-view, CNN and sports channels. Called the receptionist from my mobile phone, said she would ask the manager about viewing options but didn’t bother to ask for a number to call with feedback. There was one towel in the room. No bath floor mat or hand towels. The bed linen had a foul odour and there was dust on the scatter cushions on the bed.
