The menu and the wine list is very poor.

The Hive is fantastic with a great deck and extraordinary view on the Indian Ocean.

The chef putting cheese in my omelette when I requested no cheese and had to wait a while to get, only for it to be wrong.

The cloud is secluded, views for days. It’s a bit hot during the day but the aircon makes up for that. Delicious breakfast, loved the potato bake and watermelon. All staff is welcoming and always willing to help.

The WhatsApp line was never answered and I texted and called to make a 3 hour spa booking and no one responded or booked it. If I was calling for an emergency would I have been left to die. The WhatsApp line is how one is meant to communicate to reserve supper at the restaurant and book anything else I decided not to use it after my first day of getting no help when requesting it through WhatsApp and calling reception that afternoon. It is also how you call for help so I felt unsafe after that. The encounter with staff the following day to find out why no one responded was also a fruitless exercise no one had any answers.

The property was breathtakingly beautiful. I woke up bright and early each morning to try and catch the sunrise. I took awesome hikes through the Forrest and enjoyed the best spa experience with Michelle. Jermina was very helpful at reception too and assisted with any itinerary I had or experience I wanted to book.

We planned to spend our New Years eve here, and knew there was a bbq grill outside the room. Unfortunately it was not working, so we couldn’t braai as planned.

Loved the room, the hot tub under the stars was spectacular

That said, there are a few areas that could use some attention. While the cabin feels luxurious and comes at a premium price, it’s worth noting that it remains a cabin—with the toilet located in the same room, which might not suit everyone’s preferences. Additionally, the water in the private bath was lukewarm and had a yellowish tint. while the sun warms the structure during the day, air conditioning becomes necessary even in cooler weather.

We had a lovely stay and really appreciated the beautiful location and charming farm setting. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our quad-driving activity in the area. The cabin itself was unique, very clean, and offered stunning views
