How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Absolutely great place as always and location perfect - near the biggest malls of the country and easy get away to either the airport or other major routes!

Nothing i did not like, however I would like to suggest the addition of mosquito nets on all windows.
Nice house, with well equipped kitchen and three bedrooms. There is also a front yard with grass and a barbecue facility. House is not new but it has everything one needs for a pleasant stay with their family. Easy communication with host. Excellent location a few minutes away from Manda Hill Mall (shoprite, restaurants, movies, etc.). Master bedroom and living/dining room have A/C. Fans are available for other rooms. All beds have bed nets.

The house is in a very good position, very comfortable and very clean. The owner, Madam Silvya, very kind and caring. Definitely a very good place where to stay in Lusaka.

I liked everything about kasuda house apartment,the location is very good close to manda hill mall the host Sylvia is very friendly the house is clean and the kitchen has everything you need will definitely come back.

The bedroom was beautiful. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The water was ever available with a perfect geyser. There wasn't any power interruptions due to a powerful electrical backup system.
The location is perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a lot of privacy. It's really a home away from home.

Sylvia our host is just perfect. Very friendly and made all efforts to keep us comfortable all the time. She provided everything we needed. Even bought us bottled water and gave us guidance on the holiday attractions.

Nothing, but it would have been good to have a dust pan, and sharper knives. Didn't really impact our stay, though.
Very well fitted out and beautifully presented. Super convenient location, but also quiet. Great value for money.

Not that I didn't like it , but maybe in the future , a bigger TV would be nice ,for the evenings . But I'm just nit picking ....
The security was really good , so that was appreciated. The dwelling was really clean , very homely and nicely furnished. WiFi was good too . But mostly the hosts were phenomenal, we felt like we were part of their family . Instructions regarding door keys , WiFi password , cleaning and laundry were all given early on which was very helpful. The overall cost of the stay was very reasonable, for the area ,which is very central. It was really wonderful to stay there and Sylvia is an excellent host . Nothing was too much trouble for her. Will definitely be staying there again ! And I highly recommend this booking for any one who is travelling to Lusaka !

Hope next time I come here again, the gatekeeper will have a proper covered working place (a proper booth with walls, windows, light, a chair...), felt sorry for him. Children begging in the streets (not a problem of the hotel, of course). Legislate laws to force the children to go and stay at school to study. It is basically very bad violence of the state against the children (and the society as a whole) to let them spend their days in the streets and destroy their future.
It is a whole house, with more than enough rooms! Three big shopping malls within easy reach! Easy and quick way to the airport. The area overall is very nice. Coming there direct from the airport, I thought it's this nice everywhere in the city. Visiting the city center the next day, it is something else there, wanted to quickly return to my hotel area.
