I spent 6 nights here absolutely wonderful, the staff amazing from the door man ,reception, room attendants , wait staff . The staff always on hand to help in anyway, so friendly. Food was delicious a huge range to choose from breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pastries were beautiful. My bed was so comfortable , aircon was great , Thank you for making my holiday memorable . 10 out of 10 .

Sacar Guest House has an Ashram vibe, as it's originally a research centre for spiritual studies, but is now opening its arms to paying guests. The location is perfect with a fishing village beach steps away and a short, pleasant walk into the livelier heart of Pondicherry. We loved the peace and tranquillity of this place. Don't come here if you want to drink and party! Our room was basic, but clean and a good size, the owners friendly and very helpful. They even let us in at 6am when we arrived via overnight bus from Mysore.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. As it is new they are still not fully operational on all the amenities. And little bit unorganised as for now. But they will eventually become more organised. Sumit the manager was very helpful and very cooperative.

Loved that the host and staff were very accommodating. Any request I had was graciously met. Hanging out at the rooftop lounge and playing party games became a nightly ritual that I loved. Can easily access rental scooties at reasonable rates. BYOB is a good rule they have here. 24/7 access to facilities was amazing and the hostel is very well maintained. Loved it!

Brilliant value for money.
