We loved our stay at the Apollo Bay Waterfront motel. The location was perfect. Our room was very comfortable clean and had a gorgeous view of the ocean. Check-in was a breeze, and our hosts were lovely.

Wonderful woman at check in who made recommendations for our trip along the Great Ocean Road. Nice, small motel, reminds me of travels in my childhood. Room was small but had everything we needed. A microwave would have been nice but we didn’t really need one. Comfy bed but rather soft. Quick walk to the grocery store for breakfast supplies. Nice to have a bench outside the room to sit at.

    The room was well set up to cater for people with a disability. The location was good with a cafe and restaurant across the road and a pub next door. There was a coin laundry across the road too. The room was well equipped for self catering breakfast.

    Stayed for long weekend as a family of 4, kids age 8 &10. Great cheap and cheerful typical YHA experience. Bunk room comfy, shared bathrooms clean, good kitchen and lounge facilities. It's not a luxury hotel but a great alternative to staying in more expensive self catering accommodation when you're mostly going to be out and about. Kids felt welcome.
