United KingdomWe booked this because the apartment looked amazing and it didn't disappoint.
We dreamed we would see the northern lights and watch whales in the nearby fjord from the hot tub.
Dreams do come true...
We were treated to an amazing display of aurora borialis from the panoramic rooftop terrace.
And sat having a few beers in the hottub, listening to music watching whales 🐋 swim by will take some beating.
One of the highlights of our week long ring road trip.

A nice thing was the dishwasher and a supply of tablets. I didn't expect the terrace to have so great view! The place has efficient heating and also the windows on the sunny side so it can get very warm, but when you want to open the windows a bit of flies fly in, but this is a specific of all the area. In the center of town and close to the great swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and guest beds are great for teenagers. Check in using the digital locks was really easy, I prefer this to keys or cards. The apartment was pretty well setup for self catering. It is very close to the downtown area. We got a parking place each time, but it was often the last place available. The nearest decent supermarkets are a bit of a drive away. Attention to detail. Kitchen was fully kitted and we cooked a lovely supper. Large windows onto a balcony allowed us to stay warm indoors while still keeping an eye out for the northern lights.
