We booked this because the apartment looked amazing and it didn't disappoint.
We dreamed we would see the northern lights and watch whales in the nearby fjord from the hot tub.
Dreams do come true...
We were treated to an amazing display of aurora borialis from the panoramic rooftop terrace.
And sat having a few beers in the hottub, listening to music watching whales 🐋 swim by will take some beating.
One of the highlights of our week long ring road trip.

Very comfortable, warm and relaxing. Well equipped, with a laundry with washer and dryer on the 3rd floor near our apartment. A supermarket about 150m away. Parking on site. Recommended.

Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
This was one of the 3 or 4 nicest places we have stayed in over 35 years of vacation travel. The apartment hotel was modern and stunningly furnished and decorated. The owner has used his own excellent art collection to add splashes of color and drama to the rooms and reception/hallway areas. The kitchen cabinets, other fixtures, and furnishings were high end modern and very high quality. The views through the enormous glass windows overlooked the stunning fjord.
