Serviced apartments in Chefchaouen

Our room had everything we needed, it did have a mildew smell. The gentleman that made our breakfast was kind and the breakfast was wonderful. The other gentleman was very gruff and not friendly. The location was great and it was a good price for what you get

We had an amazing stay at Villa Rita in Chefchaouen, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. I traveled with my family, including a small child, and from the moment we arrived, we felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed. The hotel is a beautiful boutique property located about 3–4 minutes by car from the main square. While it’s slightly removed from the center, the area is quiet, secure, and peaceful—perfect for families or anyone looking to relax after exploring the town. The neighborhood felt very safe, and we had no concerns at all walking around or arriving late. We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment that had a charming, traditional Moroccan feel, blending beautifully with the atmosphere of Chefchaouen. The apartment was spotless—very clean and well-maintained. It had everything we could need for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, sink, microwave, and even a washing machine. Everything worked perfectly, and it was especially helpful as we were traveling with a toddler. The staff at Villa Rita were exceptionally kind, responsive, and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. One morning, we asked for an early breakfast—and even though it was Ramadan, they kindly prepared everything at the time we requested. The full table was beautifully set with fresh coffee, Moroccan tea, juice, and a delicious Western-style breakfast that even our two-year-old enjoyed. That level of flexibility and hospitality meant so much to us. The decor and design of the hotel are tasteful, warm, and aligned with the local style, which added to the charm of our experience. It felt like staying in a traditional home, but with all the comfort and convenience of a modern hotel. In short, Villa Rita was a perfect home base for our time in Chefchaouen. It was clean, comfortable, family-friendly, and run by people who truly care about their guests.

We are on an extended trip and book places where we can prepare a meal for ourselves whenever possible. This was the main reason we booked this property. Prior to arrival we stopped at a grocery store and purchased what we needed to prepare. When we arrived we were told there was no kitchen cooking allowed. They really need to change their listings so they aren’t promising one thing and failing on delivering it. I know beds are a personal preference, but these beds were the hardest beds I have experienced in Morocco.

The location is just perfect, close to the medina.
