    The location is perfect for Marine parade and everything it offers. The hotel is a 1930s Art Deco building with a lot of character and is well presented with lots of home-like touches including a library of books (take one/leave one). The recently opened restaurant is lovely and the staff are really attentive and excellent.

    Convenient 15 min walk to my conference at the War Memorial and close to restaurants and shops. Large room, well-equipped kitchen. The reception desk was manned during working hours which isn't always the case with Aparthotels. I was able to wash and dry my clothes for free.

    We had self catering so made our own breakfast. Car was next to unit & we even had a gate to enclose it. Unit was very clean, rooms spacious & comfortable. Car made it 4 min from town or pleasant 25 minute walk. Bus stop to Rotorua opposite
