Situated in Las Galeras, El Pelicano Apart-Hotel features accommodation with pool with a view, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The location was great, it is a beautiful spot 5 mins away from La Playita Beach. Highly recommended place to stay!! The beach that is close by it's beautiful and you won't need more than that! You will need to drive to the main street where all the restaurants are, but other than that, this place is great!

Hotel El Rincón de Abi is at Las Terrenas, in the Samaná peninsula. The hotel is 80 metres from the beach, has gardens and an outdoor pool all year round. The staff are excellent. Very attentive to needs...and very friendly. The location is great. A 2 block walk to restaurants and the beach...but in a quiet and tranquil area.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, garden view and a patio, La Dolce Vita Beachfront Apt 2 is set in Las Terrenas. Beautiful apartment ideally located with a lovely pool. There were comfortable beds, great A/C, great towels and toiletries and everything was spotlessly clean. Kitchen was well eqipped. There is a lovely terrace out front with lots of chairs and a coupke of tables. We arrived before the 3pm checkin and had to come back after that, which is fine, but it seemed churlish not to allow us to park in the empty secure parking lot until that time.

Apart-Hotel Garden Villa is set in Las Galeras, 1.1 km from Las Galeras Beach and 2.4 km from Colorada Beach. This aparthotel provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Upon booking, both the owner of the Villa and the manager (Gabi) (both of whom are amazing) reached out to make a personal contact and to offer help in anything we might need before we arrived. Their service only went up from there. Location, perfect. Comfort and cleanliness, perfect. Safety and security, perfect. Warmth and friendly helpfulness, perfect. If you are looking for an all inclusive resort experience with Golfing, breakfast buffets, and a fitness studio, this is not your place. If you are looking for an authentic Dominican vacation away from the throngs of tourists and away from the mayhem of urban centers, but where you also feel you have a secure oasis with access to the true nature and culture of the country, Garden Villa offers the perfect blend. It was our first time visiting the country. My wife and I travelled with our 4-year old daughter, and our experience could not have been better. This was in large part to choosing Las Galeras as our destination, and the Garden Villa as our home base. I was sad to leave, and I know exactly where I will stay when I can return.

Residence Nord Est, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Las Terrenas, 400 metres from Punta Popy Beach, 600 metres from Las Ballenas Beach, as well as 1.8 km from Playa El Portillo. Perfect location, close to everything. I personally have found it very peaceful, and I enjoyed the lack of "real windows", as it felt like sleeping in open air. You can hear some noises but fully managable and I slept like a baby. Yes there are some mosquitos but absolutely not dramatic, and they offer every possible remedies like electric bat or anti-mosquito smoker. Kitchen is well equipped, and there is a bidet in the bathroom. There are many cats in the garden, you can decide if it's a pro or con to you.

Set in Las Terrenas, 70 metres from Punta Popy Beach, Puerto Plaza Las Terrenas provides accommodation with a rooftop pool, free private parking, an open-air bath and a bar. I recommend the Puerto Plaza hotel which has an incredible concept and is in a great location. There are lots of shops, laundry, pharmacy, restaurants, bars and a disco nearby hotel. Very comfortable rooms, where nothing is missing and there are very clean. I really enjoyed serving breakfast which was fresh and tasty. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Everybody's are ready to help. The receptionist Alex is very polite and can solve any problem in such a way that the stay at the hotel is very pleasant :)

Situated within 400 metres of Bonita and 1.5 km of Coson, Hotel Enjoy features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Las Terrenas. Morgan went above and beyond helping us get to our next destination, he rode all the was to the Asotrapusa when we encountered a problem to help us our! So sweet of him! He also gave us a lift to town for grocery shopping and simultaneously gave us a mini tour of the town which was super reassuring. Thank Morgan!!

Located steps away from the beach of Punta Popy and in a 5-min walk from Pueblo de los Pescadores, Aligio Apart-hotel & Spa offers two pools, on-site restaurant and a brand new Beauty & Spa salon. The hotel is right in front of the beach as it says in the description. The place has two pools so it isn't crowded. The rooms are very quiet, you don't hear the noise from outside so its very peaceful. Also it has everything you need. The place is walking distance from restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacy.
