Overlooking the Bay of Islands and Te Haumi Beach, The Retreat Bay of Islands Paihia offers free Wi-Fi. The basic self-contained holiday accommodation boasts a private balcony and sea views. The view was beautiful and our host was outstanding!!!! We arrived ahead of the cyclone and when we told our host we had a flight to catch in Auckland she suggested we leave a couple days early to ensure we arrived on time. Although it was a HUGE disappointment to leave this beautiful place early we appreciated her wisdom.

Surrounded by lovely gardens and situated on the waterfront, Hananui Lodge and Apartments features accommodation with free WiFi, a private balcony or patio and an LCD TV. The location was ideal right on the beach, we had 2 queen beds and with the pull out couch it worked very well for a family of 5. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Just what we were looking for.

We loved this little hotel and would definitely stay again. The reciptiionist was informative and very nice. the room was comfortable and we could walk to dinner and the beach was beautiful.

The Property was Tidy and immaculate and very spacious for our family. Greatly positioned where it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the Waitangi week.
