It was a little difficult to find even with the map I brought with me. Should have spent one fewer day in Rotorua, and a second day in Taupo.

Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo se nachází v malebné růžové zahradě, 2 minuty chůze od jezera Taupo a 20 minut chůze od centra města Taupo. Na letiště Taupo je to 2,7 km. Amazing single room with the private pool, and balcony bedroom! Just stunning with the sunset flooding the bedroom. Friendly and prompt staff. Parking was just near the room. 5 min drive to the town center. The best part of all this is the extremely reasonable price.

Braxmere Lodge se nachází u krásného jezera Taupo a nabízí ubytování s terasou a výhledem na jezero. Braxmere Lodge Tokaanu je vzdálen 10 minut jízdy od líhně pstruhů a Turangi. Wonderful cottage right at the lake. Modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Big bonus is the provided BBQ. Next town with a big supermarket is only 8 minutes by car. There you find also a few restaurants (reservation is recommend). Restaurant right next to the cottage is closed at the moment, but that’s alright. Some people said it’s hard to find, but if you are ok driving a little off the main road, and you can read signs you will definitely find it 😉

Voyager Apartments Taupo is located 50 metres from a safe swimming beach and it is a 10-minute stroll along the lakefront to Taupo town centre. Easy check-in via door pin code was great as we drove from Auckland.-Taupo and didn't arrive until 10.30 pm. Clean, spacious, comfortable, allocated off street parking, plenty of utilities. Would definitely stay again.

Set 40 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley, Sacred Waters Taupo offers an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Loved the space in the 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment, the underfloor heating, balcony with hot tub, swimming pool (39 degrees). It was quiet with good parking facilities and easy access to Lake Taupo.
