Offering a private beach area and an outdoor swimming pool, as well as a garden, Fare Oaoa Haapiti is located in Moorea, 26 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course. Really excellent stay. The owner went out of her way to accommodate us and went the extra mile. The staff were also brilliant and great fun. There’s a shop across the street which is handy. The beach was nice and had a lovely sunset every night. Moorea is a very special island with a lot of magic.

The restaurant Chez Irene's up the road was great and only a 5 minute walk. What we wish we knew: there was a full equipped kitchen but the shops on the island are really expensive. We could have came with more from the main island supermarket and fruit market to make the most of it. There is a nespresso machine so bring pods, laundry but no powder, dishwasher but no soap! If you have some at home, just put a few capsules in your luggage. There were also lots of games, snorkel masks and tennis racquets to borrow from reception. Lots of places on the beach to book snorkel tours, scuba and kayaks. A restaurant overlooking the water 2 minutes down the beach.
