Everything about this apartment was amazing. I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

At the end of town, close to shops, restaurants, bars, beach… Apartment is perfect size, comfortable for two people. Check in was great. I was allowed to check in early and was shown the property and given recommendations on things to do.

The perfect base for exploring Madeira. The Residence Porto Mare – Porto Bay is an absolutely stunning place. We enjoyed every second of our stay. It was magical from start to finish. A warm and friendly welcome at reception. The reception staff were very kind to us, took our luggage to our room and helped us navigate the huge grounds. We had a studio room, spacious and very comfortable with good furniture. Large terrace with table and chairs, and in front of it a garden with sun loungers. The kitchen-studio was equipped with everything you need to prepare dinner. The beds are huge and the mattresses are very comfortable for a great night's sleep. The room is spotlessly clean, cleaned every day. A special mention goes to the housekeeper Zite Figueira. Her cheerful attitude and cheerful laughter made our stay even more enjoyable. We celebrated my wife's birthday in the Alfama a la carte restaurant. The food was excellent and the manager of the restaurant Paulo and his whole team made my wife's day unforgettable. The cake with candles and congratulations from the staff was great. The hotel staff also congratulated us with champagne in the room. We would like to thank everyone. It was a wonderful surprise. I must say that all the staff of the residence are very friendly, polite, diligent and helpful. The breakfast staff was always professional, despite being very busy. The breakfast in the Atlantida restaurant, "buffet", was very good. The quality of the food is excellent. Beautiful well-kept green area, beautiful gardens, great pools, jacuzzi, gym, "happy hour"! There are enough places on the sun loungers. Supermarket and shopping center next door. Lido nearby. Many restaurants and bars around Everything was perfect for our stay. We had a great time. Vila Marta se nachází v obci São Martinho, sotva 10 minut jízdy od města Funchal, a nabízí ubytování s vlastní terasou a výhledem na Atlantický oceán a banánové plantáže. A great stay! We felt so welcome at Vila Marta! We chose it because we wanted to support local owners, and we were not disappointed by the warm, family-like hospitality. The room was spacious, very clean, well equipped, with a lovely view of the ocean. They pushed the beds together for us, brought us fresh bread every morning, and generally just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. The place is in a very quiet area, so sleep at night is peaceful, and there are buses nearby. We would definitely return!

Lovely host, a legit Alojamento Local, apartments very nicely furnished, beds are a bit narrow and mattresses are okayish, but the bed pillows need to be more comfortable, they're quite uncomfortable as it is.

The Luxo Apartment is spacious and well designed with all the amenities needed including a fully equipped kitchen and a utility area for laundry. Mathias, the host, is exceedingly generous and went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Breakfast is a highlight - a huge variety of options freshly delivered to the apartment every morning including daily local delicacies. The two pools, steam room, outdoor gym and hot tub are so enjoyable that it makes it hard to actually leave to explore Madeira!!

Pestana Casino Studios se nachází 700 metrů od centra města Funchal a poskytuje ubytování s klimatizací a bezplatným Wi-Fi a venkovní bazén. Pláž Praia do Almirante Reis se nachází 1,7 km odtud. Our flight was cancelled due to weather conditions, but hotel refunded the money without problems, thank you for that!
