During our four weeks stay in an Apartment near Castelfiorentino we had the opportunity to visit the "Chianti Classico Expo in Greve in Chianti", and we decided it was not a good idea to drive back to Tonda in the evening after visiting this wonderful wine fest - very smart decision! Montefioralle is a beautiful medieval small town high above Greve, and the appartment is right in the heart of town in a beautiful centuries old building with lots and lots of character. Matteo is super-friendly and helpful, he runs an Enoteca on the ground floor of the building and that is where you get the keys (if you arrive at daytime - else he will always suggest a perfect solution, he communicates brilliantly). The restaurant he suggested for the evening (La Castellana) provided the best Truffle treatment we had during our entire Tuscanny stay.

    I definitely recommend this accommodation. The apartment was renovated, spacious, clean and fully equipped. Terraces in two directions and as a bonus, a barbecue in the backyard. Easy to move around the Chianti region. The host Marcello is absolutely great!

    Despite the bad weather, Villa il Castellacio provided us with amazing vacation. The location of the villa was great to drive around the Tuscany. The apartment/house itself was well equipped with everything we might need, we felt very comfortable with plenty of space. Leonardo was a very helpful and kind host. There is a small town Greve 15 minute drive from the villa where you can find plenty of restaurants and a supermarket.

    A beautiful apartment in a beautiful venue with lovely staff. The photos don't come close to showing how lovely this place is. Comfortable bed and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, gorgeous gardens.

    The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the Tuscan Chianti hills. Silvia and Luca were great hosts and "Monte" was a good spacious apartment with all the equipment you need for cooking. The pool was outstanding and we enjoyed the pingpong and table football. Going shopping and to restaurants sort of require a car as the holiday home is very uphill from the main road and Lucolena is a very small village, but that's also what makes this place so tranquil and unique. We loved it :)
