Location was as expected when we picked the porperty. Franscesca was extremely kind and helpful. She made us feel really welcome and at home immediately upon arrival all the way to right before we left. The bikes available for rent were a great idea, and useful to explore the vicinity. The accomodation is really modern, homey, clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The mosquito nets were also a gamechanger, it definitely reduced the bites we would have had otherwise.

The location was close to the beach, the apartment was clean and comfortable and the male host was helpful when I arrived at the apartment and there was no bottled water, he drove me to the supermarket.

Offering free WiFi in a dedicated garden lounge, Sunset Hill Lodge provides self-contained apartments on the waterfront or on the hill side. All rooms boast picturesque sea views.

Our apartment had air conditioning in the bedroom, which was very welcome and a comfortable mattress and plenty of plugs to charge phones and laptops. We were right on the lagoon frontage, so despite the property being located off the main busy road, the outlook was very nice and it was quiet to sleep at night. There was a jetty to jump off into the lagoon (very deep in front and clear - great swimming). The apartment was brightly painted with stencilled friezes, and there was a handy washing line, and a great outdoor shower for use after the lagoon swims! Our host picked us up, and dropped us off to the boat transfer for the airport. She also recommended and booked us on a snorkelling tour, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A supermarket was 5 minutes walk away, as were some great food trucks, and we were also handy to the St James restaurant and speciality shops. Another bonus was that we were directly opposite a cycle hire place, which offered very good value for money for standard bicycles. The main centre of Vaitape was a further five minute walk away so this is a very handy spot.

The deck was perfect for sunset watching and just relaxing after a long day. Kitchen well equipped + 2 bathrooms. Parking near the entrance and within property gates so felt safe having our rental parked. Property is above a pharmacy but wasn’t a bother for us with customers coming and going. Need to climb stairs to 2nd floor. 2 mins walk to Moana Adventures for activities.

    The apartment is brand new and crisp clean. It is conveniently located between the main beach, Matira, and the main town, Vaitape, with good shopping and restaurants. Access was easy to both on a bicycle. The apartment had everything I needed in order to cook. The hosts were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant a delightful stay. 100% recommended. The flight of stairs to the mezzanine bedroom is steep and may not be suitable for people with disabilities.

    Good position near restaurants, Matira beach,two small shops and a car rental agency (avis). Good and helpfull staff. Special thanks to all reception staff, especially to reservation manager and to Giulia. Thanks also to mme Tarare (hope not have a mistake for the nom) from the beach restaurant. I have two type of reservation. Ocean view from my room was astonishing (sunrise+++). Over the water bungalow experience-just amazing.

    The room was spacious and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay. It's a short walk (15 mins) to Matira Beach which is handy and there are a few shops nearby as well as other Restaurants if you want to venture out.

    Quiet unit amidst lush setting; public spaces on water; good food; extremely helpful staff. When one of our rental bikes got a flat, they drove a replacement out to us and took the bike with the problem! Free snorkel gear as well and the shuttle to/from the boat to the airport was seamless
