Super unique stay. John (host) was so enthusiastic about the history and that was contagious. Air con in the bedroom was wonderful as the weather was very hot. We were very grateful to be able to change to the other room (there are just two bedrooms in the house) so we could have the bathroom upstairs. The other bathroom is downstairs.

This place is conveniently located a stone’s throw from the center of Elbasan, near the castle boundary. During my stay, I was warmly hosted by an elderly gentleman, who appears to be related to the owner I contacted on WhatsApp. The prompt response and the value for the money I paid were commendable. Everything was satisfactory, and I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The facility is beautfiul, astounding stone work. The rooms was OK but on the roadside of a very busy road. Bring your earplugs. The hotel sits adjacent to the river and during high season would be a most wonderful place to relax out on their expansive grounds along the river under the shade of trees. I was there in off season, so the cafe and riverfront seating was closed.

Cabin 9 is located in Librazhd, 30 miles from Kalishta Monastery. The inn features family rooms.

Everything. The surrounding is incrediblely beautiful and peaceful. The place is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen is big and I shared a few beautiful nights with other guests the meals and drinks. The family who hosted me was so kind and generous. They made sure I had all I need and they accommodated me with everything. Buqe ( the mother) is very sweet and kind. She showed me their farm and we went to pick up chestnuts on their land. We develop beautiful connections. The dinner and breakfast were made with ingredients from their land and they are delicious and of great portion! I ended up staying for 8 days and I really hope I can come back one day again! Falenminderitb shüme! Big hugs from Effy.
