The traditional Kirchenwirt hotel is located next to the church and 1700 ft from the center of Gosau, in the midst of the Dachstein West ski region.

Very quiet place to stay close to good skiing at Dachstein and not far from larger skiing venues as well. The sauna area is nice. The food for dinner was delicious. I ate there four nights in a row and had something different every night and it was terrific.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Because my husband wanted to do the via ferrata, the location of the hotel was very convenient to take the cable car up. The view from our balcony was outstanding and overlooking the lake! We didn't want to leave!

We loved so much this place. They were so kind and helpful to us. The room was big with a perferct view. There are a lot of privet and free places for parking. The breakfast was tasty with a lot of verity. I recommend this place!

    Hotel was in a great location, right next to the lake. The balcony is shared between multiple rooms but large enough to have privacy and it had a beautiful view of the lake. Room temp was kept cool (which was nice during the heat wave) and bedding was very comfortable. The morning and evening staff were both friendly and helpful.

    Great location with awesome view from any room you might stay in. The room is big enough, pretty modern for a mountain hotel and has a lovely balcony. The breakfast is very good and the food at the restaurant is also a nice touch. Parking area is big. We really enjoyed our stay.

    This apartment is extremely clean and new. Got everything as advertised. Great view and great host. Host is very nice and come to meet us when we checked-in. The view from the bed is super. I would definitely recommend this place. The space in the apartment is very wide, so it is great for a family. Quiet, peaceful, and relax atmosphere. The apartment itself looks better than in the advertised pictures.

    Great location, 15 minutes Hallstatt, 10 minutes Gosausee with Dachstein, 1 hour Saltzburg and more. Gorgeous house in the hill overlooking Gosau village, valley, horses and mountains. Building has two large apartments with great balcony and view. Our apartment was fully equip except the washer machine, but for family it has everything. Two bedrooms, perfectly clean and working. 350 m is a food shop, large kids playground like 500 m. Private parking for three cars is in front of the house. Exceptional place for sure.

    Last minute booking after our other hotel closed. Gauserhof is in a great location for a real peaceful nights sleep. Pay for the Mountain View room. It is worth it with a little balcony. Evening food is only until 7pm (we were there on a Sunday) but there is a pizzeria and another gasthof restaurant within walking distance. Hotel has been in the same family for generations and they have a photo family tree at reception. Current host also asked if we wanted to put the motorbike in the locked garage overnight. Excellent breakfast.
