Located in the center of Ötz, Gasthof zum Stern is a traditional Tyrolean inn with historic frescoes, the oldest of which dates from 1573. The Hochoetz Ski Area is 1312 feet away.

The staff does a great job making you feel welcome and comfortable. The food is great and so are the amenities. I would recommend it to anyone and we will return if we're ever back in the area.

Small, private hotel. Very helpful owner. Canteen is always open, so it is possible to make a tea at the evening. Cabin to Hochoetz ski area is just in 5 min drive. To Soelden is about 30 minus. Several good restaurants around

Everything was exceptional! Karolin is an amazing host, she woke up early to make us breakfast and had great recommendations for the area. The location is great as well as the room and facilities. Will be sure to stay here again if I'm in the area!

our host on arrival was welcoming and attentive, we asked some questions about places we wanted to visit and his local knowledge was excellent suggesting an alternative route as the road we had planned to travel was closed. he also recommended a local restaurant which we visited and that too was excellent.

    This accommodation was much more than we expected. It had everything we wanted, was in a great location for our weeks adventures, was quiet, comfortable and had a terrific view from the balcony. It was within walking distances of the shops and bus services.

    Great location close to Oetz center / bus station (to Soelden) and lift for Kuhtai resort. Quiet area and close to the river for nice walks and/or run. Nice large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, very convenient.

    Great location with the bus stop less than a minutes walk down the road for the ski bus, or alternatively could walk there in 15 mins. Lots of restaurants and shops within a few mins walk. Quiet location with 2 balconies overlooking the mountains which was beautiful. Given a change of towels which was nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to return!
