Typical village hotel. Not posh, new and fancy, but very original and friendly. Everything is a bit older, but clean. Good WiFi. Very friendly people and good food.
Pension Linder awaits you in the middle of the town and in the best central location surrounded by greenery in Seeboden, just a few steps away from the shore of Lake Millstatt.

Very friendly staff - keys available on arrival. Nice room with balcony for views over a tranquil setting. Plenty of parking (use the parking on the right hand side of building). Easily accessible from motorway at Spittal.
Restaurant on site was very good, as was breakfast.
The Roman museum (Teurnia), a few miles away, is very good. It is split over 3 sites - the ticket office and information is at St. Peter in Holz.

Hospitality: our hosts provided a late dinner when we arrived at a late hour from our 12h train journey and cycle ride. The next day, they invited us to make a free picnic at breakfast for our bike ride and gave us sandwich bags to put it in. Great range of homemade after-dinner drinks, food and drink at modest prices.

We have booked one room with twin beds and have received two separate rooms, which was great for 2 friends on motorbikes:-). Very nice breakfast, easy check-in, covered parking, simply excellent service!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great country Gasthof in a very quiet spot on the side of the hill up from Spittal. Excellent family place, staff, bathroom, room with balcony and mountain view, great breakfast. Had a lovely tasty dinner here as well.
Quiet at night, staff members VERY FRIENDLY.
They offered help with luggage and were very attentive.
Also owner responded on my request about chek in very quickly.
An eclectic choice of rooms. In the end I settled for a room on the second floor at the back of the hotel, which turned out to be blissfully quiet, with none of the ambient noise you get from modern hotels.
The bar and restaurant area was friendly and lively, very welcome after a week in relatively characterless establishments further east. The trout I ordered was delicious.
Great, clean and well equipped apartment. Easy to find, near supermarket, in the city that has it all (great little pool...). Private parking, radiator for ski boots. We went skiing to Katschberg, easy half hour drive. Recommendation.
I have to say many thanks for Boyana (hope wrote it well) for the hospitality! I had to stay in Spittal due an unexpected accident, and my inconvenient day got better by the accommodations:) I booked the cheapest option, but I got a nice private room with shower, and a really good breakfast next morning.
