location was close to blackheath centre yet in a quiet spot. room had lovely view of closed off garden area. All was clean, compact and comfy. Breakfast had enough choice for us. I liked the cereal containers too, had enough in them but allowed it to be kept fresh. Nice choice of spreads for the toast too.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. There is a small elevator in the rear which was helpful since I was on the third floor (what Australians call the second). Parking in the rear included which was nice. Easy walk into town.

What a beautiful part of the mountains! We had a wonderful stay, our room was simple but very comfortable, the staff were lovely and the restaurant food was excellent. We can’t wait to go back.

So Day 1 on our 12 day ride we stayed in Katoomba. I had dinner here 6 years ago and remembered it was a cool old PUB. So I booked rooms here for the group. They have been remodeling the property for some time now. It looks great. Rooms were brand new and pub look good.

What a beautiful property. On the first floor there is a comfortable sitting area and a breakfast room where you could get treats throughout the day. Room was spacious and comfortable. Sits 5 minutes from Scenic World in Blue Mountains Unfortunately our stay was cut short as I broke my leg after a fall in the mountains. My husband inadvertently left my kindle behind. The owner, Iian was so kind to bring it to me in the hospital.
