Everything about this place was wonderful. Veroniek was very helpful, suggested a lovely place for dinner, made us great breakfast and really made our stay really stress-free.

A beautiful, recently renovated house with tastefully decorated rooms and a very well-maintained garden. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit salad, delicious coffee, freshly baked bread, a variety of cheeses, charcuterie - the list could go on and on. The owners are lovely people, we felt welcome and well taken care of and in a genuine way - starting with a nice welcome drink, excellent advice on nearby restaurants and places to visit, and nice chats in the evenings. We were there only for a couple of days to do some walking. The Panorama walking route was great, and the Kluisbos route was enchanting. Would love to go back again, La Sucrerie is a one of a kind!
