The suite was very quiet and faced the lake. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. I enjoyed a soak in the bathtub.
The suite was very clean.
The fireplace was a nice surprise.
I'm already planning another trip back.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Extremely charming and great neighbourhood next to good coffeeshops, restraurants and excellent ice cream etc. and still absolutely quiet. The owner and the staff are really helpful.
My friend and I went to Nelson in early May, it was still a bit off season. We stayed two nights in Victoria fall house, it was very quiet as only we two guests there. The location was perfect, close to everything. The room had a fully equipped kitchen. Also, it has a private parking lots back of building, which was so convenient and valuable to us as we had a car. I would stay again if I come to Nelson next time and recommend it to any of my friend who's going there.
Walking distance to food, coffee and shopping. The suite was spacious and the temperature inside was perfect, the location was quiet and felt very private even though it was downtown. The hosts were responsive and accommodating whenever we had questions and when we wanted to change our room and add on an extra night.
The Hume is a very nice boutique hotel. The place is very charming with a real feel of history. The restaurant was great and Mike's place was amazing. There are a lot of great places to eat within an easy walk and some after hours entertainment on the weekends at the Royal. If you like a Speak Easy, be sure to find the door with the red light in the alleyway behind the hotel!
Walking distance to the city center with a lot of restaurants and cafes. The breakfast is good, but there are many cheaper options in town.
The room was clean, but a bit outdated. Okay for a couple of days.
