The grounds at this resort were beyond my expectation. Not only were they incredibly beautiful, there was easy access to the ocean, wildlife, and nature. It was a dream spot, that I hope to go back to some day!

Funky Forest Bnb is located in Shirley, just a 1-minute walk from French Beach and 200 yards from French Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Location! Not too far of a drive out of town but really felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere. Cabin had everything we needed and Roman was very accommodating. Also beautiful views. Will have to come back in the summertime.

So fun to be on the farm, best ever cycling to the sea and hangout there! Breakfast was ok - kinda small continental. Room oddly basic but heated floor in wee bathroom a delightful surprise!

Salty Towers Ocean Front Cottages is a recently renovated guest house in Sooke where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

Wonderful location with ocean view and private patio. Nice to have a fire in wood stove. Very quiet and lots of birds. Nice to walk out on pier to see birds in early morning.

The view from the bedroom was incredible. Loved watching the birds and tiny rabbits. Basement was chilly, we did turn heat on a wee bit. We had all the necessary tools to make our meals.

    Stayed in the Rainforest Room, which was very comfortable with two queen sized beds and the forest, hot tub and beach right on the doorstep. Caroline and Trevor were amazing, friendly hosts that couldn't have done more to make our stay as perfect as it was.

    The location is great, right next to the beach with its own access path. We also found it a great location to base ourselves as we could travel North to hiking trails and Port Renfrew or south to Victoria. Enjoyed the jacuzzi with great evening views. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

    The location is beautiful - although there is nothing close by (restaurants/supermarket). But for hiking, it is a great place and amazing private beach. The room was big and the garden is well-kept. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of this place.
