Woodside is a very nice location. We found the room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Check in and out was very simple and easy and we had no issues whatsoever. The breakfast was hearty and plentiful. Highly recommended. It's an actual farm so don't expect sea views or something like that. A heritage farmhouse that has had a high quality restoration/renovation into a guest house. Really nice.

The house backed right onto the Galloping Goose Trail with a short walk to the local pub and gas station with a store, market and gift shop. Although there were other people staying there, we never heard them and we always had the hot tub to ourselves. Beautiful view of the water from the hot tub and from our room balcony. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for our needs. If one was cycling the Galloping Goose trail I don't think one could find a more convenient stop. Breakfast was good.

    The cottage is quiet and private. It is located right at the beach and has wonderful views of the sea and mountains. We also have the opportunity to spot seals and whales swimming by during our stay.

    We loved this stay. It was large enough for us all to have our own space and was quiet and comfortable. The backyard was lovely and so quiet. It was great to be able to charge our EV while we were there as well. It was a great location, close to all amenities you would need. Any communication between us and the host was super quick.

    We loved the view from our room. There may be a lot of steps to Hummingbird but it has easy access to the hot tub which was the most amazing hot tub I have ever used. Lots of food for breakfast especially fruit and good coffee and tea. The room was quiet and private with a large bathroom. Found Route 14 in Sooke had an excellent menu for evening meal. Would absolutely stay here again.
