I don't really understand the very high ratings and positive reviews for this place. Overall, it was not bad but certainly not like how it has been described in the other reviews.
The host was really nice - she came to greet us upon our arrival and introduce the place. The chalet vibe of the place is very homely and cosy. Overall, the place was generally clean and you can tell the host has tried her best to make the place as functional as possible. Location is not bad - just off the highway and close to key places we were visiting in the area.
Treffpunkt Heuwiese is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Weite where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge.

The property was in a rural area and quite beautiful. We weren’t there long but there was a map in the room of what looked like many beautiful hikes and mountain biking trails. We got up on the morning and walked on an exercise trail- not sure what it’s called in German- but it was delightful. We traveled into Liechtenstein and had our passports stamped at the visitor center.
Landhaus an der Thur enjoys a location in Alt Sankt Johann, 15 miles from Säntis and 30 miles from Olma Messen St. Gallen.

The historic building has been beautifully renovated and is very clean. Daniel is such a great host, very knowledgeable of the area and will go the extra mile to ensure you are taken care of. We look forward to returning one day.

We felt like entering into a little happy cocoon when we arrived. All the wood and the attention for detail made it like a wonderful fairytale house. The children loved that they could say hi to the horses. The location right next to Liechtenstein was great for us, as we wanted to visit that country.
