We enjoyed our stay at Cabinas Cahuita. It was super close to the National Park and the compound felt private, friendly and the pool was a great addition. The owner is a super friendly guy and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Having air conditioning in our room was fantastic and there are some great options for restaurants nearby, as well as being in close proximity to the bus station. Highly recommend.

The staff were incredibly accommodating. Our room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and both pools were lovely. There is lots of wildlife around, birds, iguanas, frogs and lizards. I saw a green basilisk in the hotel courtyard and we saw a sloth just down the street from the hotel!

The owner is really helpful and explains a lot. They give you a ride to the national parc for a hike in the morning.

Location was a few minute drive from the main town, which we liked as it was quiet and direct access to the beach which most of the time we had to ourselves. Room was big and comfortable. Had a pool to use which was also nice and clean. Owner was lovely and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and visit. Also knowledgeable about the local wildlife

We spent two wonderful nights at Julien’s accommodation. On the day we arrived, we were greeted with a delicious smoothie made from local fruits. The accommodation is very nice and the rooms very large and clean. The breakfast was prepared by Julien with a lot of love, it was the best breakfast on our round trip through Costa Rica. You could tell how much love Julien puts into renting out his accommodation. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would come back anytime.

    The best accommodation we had in Costa Rica! House is perfectly clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The air conditioning, wifi and washing machine worked perfectly. Great location in a quiet and safe place with beautiful views of the garden and banana plantation. Wendy took excellent care of us. She is super kind, helpful and friendly.     Friendly staff. great location, very close to the National Park, but also just out of main town so it was quiet. plentiful breakfast. Loads of wildlife in the gardens around the hotel - saw monkeys everyday (Howlers and Capuchins) and lots more. The pool is a great place to chill out and enjoy the gardens. The track to the hotel is well lit and perfectly safe. Rooms are good size and showers have plenty of hot water. Rooms had both air-con and fans so easy to regulate temperature.
