Location being right on the beach is what drew us in. And that was pretty spectacular. Our room was very tiny with a double bed and slanted side table and shelf for some storage. It’s a very rustic place. The breakfast was good and the owners were very nice.

The cabana is the perfect private rustic getaway from the plugged-in keep-up-with-the-Joneses world to slow down reconnect with nature and loved ones. The location had amazing access to a pristine beach and the property itself is a little wildlife haven. We were birding from bed! Karen’s cooking was the best we had in Guanacaste and she went out of her way to accommodate my gluten intolerance by making delicious homemade gluten free breads and muffins that satisfied and impressed! Jack and Karen are charming, a pleasure to talk with and are an amazing resource for information on Costa Rica.
