The highlight of this place is undoubtedly Rosarinha. She is an exceptional cook and keeps the entire place spotless. Her warmth and dedication truly stand out and deserve nothing but praise.
Unfortunately, the accommodation needs a lot of attention. The mattress is very uncomfortable — it sinks deeply as soon as you lie down. I decided to leave earlier than planned because of this. The bathroom floods when showering, and many windows and doors are hard or impossible to open. The terrace furniture is not comfortable, so it's hard to enjoy the beautiful view.
The dog barking at night also made it harder to sleep well.
I tried to contact the management to share my concerns, but unfortunately I never received a response.
I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight, but I would recommend coming for lunch or dinner to enjoy Rosarinha’s wonderful cooking and care!

By far the cleanest, most modern, and well equipped place I've stayed at on Santo Antao, but what makes it truly perfect is how nice and considerate Keila is. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Small family run stay. Margareth is an amazing host, very welcoming and helpful. She gave us a lot of good tips about the area and cooked all the wonderful breakfasts and dinners (dinner is an extra, to be requested a day in advance). The view from the living room is unreal. The location is convenient for exploring Santo Antao by car, close to all the popular sights.

Lovely owner, plentiful breakfast, amazing location directly opposite Mini Familiar (groceries and restaurant). Everything is clean, beds comfortable, if a little hard. Lovely sunrises from your window. Quiet, as it's a sleepy street, and only one direct neighbour in the room next door. I absolutely LOVED having access to a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge at all times during the day - you can always make a cuppa or a snack. This is a much better quality accomodation in Ponta do Sol than anywhere else we stayed, by a country mile.
Set in Ponta do Sol in the Santo Antao region, Casa BB&Djassi has a balcony and sea views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Super breakfast, great location, great value for money, great staff
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. They welcome visitors. I posted more stories and images at nomadicmind.org
