I had a great stay in the small town of Annot. Unfortunately I only was able to communicate with the owner in written (text messages) but everything went extremely good. I got the door code and found the room key easily.
The rooms is lovely and you see that the owner cares about how everyhting looks like. For that price the room was also very big and the couch was perfect for the rainy afternoon that I had after the hike to the big sandstones (Gres d'Annot).
There is not much to do in the town and the restaurant options are limited but it is definitely worth to stay for one or two nights and do the hike. The house is on the main road through the town but it was still not loud.

Lovely old building, renovated to provide simple, clean, comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Great location just up the road from Castellane. Loved the kitchen set-up where you can cook for yourself or just make a coffee, and there are various comfortable seating areas inside and out.

An excellent place to be !
Every single photo mirrors reality, my room with its terrace was outstanding: very well furnished, towels smelled well from lavender, the pool was already opened, the bed very long enough for my 1,93m.
Landlady offered selfmade olives to wine at my terrace and insisted to prepare 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast next morning additionally. Breakfast much more than standard petit dejeuner, homemade jam, lemonade, coffee etc.
Altogether a stunning view high up in the valley, quiet, cosy, stylish and:
for international travelers : Landlady and Landlord are well fluent in English!
The only hint: the access road is mega steep, take 1.gear and do not stop in between 😂

Excellent stay in Annot. Private parking, lots of space inside and outside, and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect as a base for hiking, climbing and bouldering.
Everything 😊 it was very clean and comfortable. We even found some English speaking Chanels on the tv. It wasn’t a long bike ride into Annot which was quiet but had a few cafes.
