Very cozy place. It was just a night stay before a ferry trip, booked 30 minutes before to arrive there, but is a nice place to spend a holiday to visit the Normandy. I already have the plan to do it.
The area is more than definition of "quiet", even my thoughts were very loud in that place.
The hosts are very kind and helpful.

Location was excellent and within a short walking distance to the town. Breakfast was not included but not essential due to the many coffee shops and cafes in the town.
The Chateau de Rozel is located just 1 km from the sea, near Jersey and Guernsey. It offers charming B&B accommodation and free Wi-Fi. Guest rooms at the Castle de Rozel include en suite facilities.

A charming manoir within a beautful park, very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, and last but not least a nice host who recommended us an outstanding restaurant for the dinner in the neighbourhood. In other words: a perfect stay – and highly recommanded!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The first and major selling point is the friendliness and involvement of the owners.
They really went out of their way to make us (group of 8) feel at home and cater to every need we had and provide us with tips for restaurants and attractions.
The second selling point is the ambiance of the place.
If you are in for old-worldly charme of a historic chateau this place is absolutely to be considered.
It has loads of charme and given its location away from the village down a long private entry road it provides absolute calm.
The location is secluded and quiet, the property is a beautiful old chateau with an old stone dovecote in the garden and the owners are delightful. The room we had was at the front of the house reached via an old spiral stone staircase in a tower adjoining the building. Breakfast was good and the owners Uwe and Irene helpful and charming. Uwe kindly recommended a local company that produces and sells very good cider and calvados.
Excellent breakfast in a beautiful chateau. The room was wonderful. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet, no parking problems. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. French, English and German spoken. I would definitely stay here again.
Very charmy beautiful chatoe!
We have been warm welcome
Great location!
Food was local, fresh and delicious
Bed very comfortable and warm room!
Recommended!
Large room, quiet and peaceful, lovely hosts, welcome bottle of rose cider but probably the biggest like is the uniqness of staying in a real 16th century chateau.
Chateau le Val is a rather magical property in a hidden valley which was incredible peaceful…..a complete haven from the modern world.
The owners were charming and considerate hosts and provided a lovely breakfast in and amazing old dining room.
They were also extremely welcoming to our two doggies….genuinely happy to have them to stay!
