Lovely to be next to a chateau though we didn’t get to experience the chateau itself as you sleep in one of the adjacent buildings.

Ms. Edith was very warm and hospitable. The room was exceptionally clean and beautiful. It was a very peaceful and relaxing hearing the rooster in the morning. The barn with selected breed of horses was an experience and memorable. If you like a charm of being in countryside of France, this is the place to be. Hope to be able to come back in the future and able to road cycling in this region.
The breakfast was a treat with a baguette, local cheese, juice, jam and coffee. It’s more to have for the morning.

We stayed here after visiting Beauvais Cathedral. it is a really interesting chateau in a very quiet location. From what I was able to understand the owner is Iranian and has recruited Persian speaking Afghans to run the hotel and they did a good job (and spoke good French too). Chaumont-en-Vexin is very quiet in August and we ended up having to drive all the way over to Gisors to find a restaurant that was open for dinner.
Logis Saint Nicolas is a great location in our trip towards south. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. We loved the cheese board with a nice wine that we had at dinner.
