The owners speak French, German and some English, the communication was very effective (above expectations). The rooms and everything looks extremely nice and cozy, with authentic Alsas atmosphere. The breakfast was amazing and enough for the good start of the day, moreover, some products or the table, like honey, are made by the owners themselves!
In the room we had bathroom and toilet separately, also a tea corner and a fridge. I wish we could stay there for longer, to look around and to use the discount for more than 3 booked days! Did not want to leave... :) The surroundings look very nice and there is a lot you can see within one-hour car ride.

We had a fantastic stay at this gîte in the old part of La Petite Pierre, right next to the château. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade marmalade.
The room was spotless, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner or snacks. A great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay in this charming village!

I was met at the door by my host Claude who had the garage door open ready for me to put my motorcycle away safely. A beer followed (very welcome indeed) and the house is amazing. My room and facilities were outstanding, as was breakfast, his company was great and there was even a lovely patio for an evening beer. And last but not least, it was a real home from home for me - all in all, I will be back.
