Very friendly hosts and great location. 'Dartmoor' refers to the type of pony that the hosts breed and show, and there were a couple of friendly ones in the field next to the house! Lovely breakfast, tea and coffee always available in the dining area, and some nice little touches (eg bottled water in the room on arrival) made for a very homely feel, despite this being a fairly new building and one seemingly designed to cater for large groups and wedding parties. Lots of off-street parking and only a few minutes drive from a couple of local towns with a good selection of eateries. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked, save that the wifi was a tiny bit patchy in the room itself.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. Nestled in a quiet rural setting, the property offered relaxation, which we needed from the hustle and bustle of city life where we came from. The room was cozy and clean. The hosts were welcoming and friendly.
We recommend this place.

It was clean; nice architecture. They also have a few boardgames & a colouring book which was nice.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The apartment was very well laid out and equipped with everything you could need for a self catering stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and as it was in a development for mainly elderly residents was very quiet. There was a gym on site and an indoor pool which were very little used. Easy walking distance to town and shops. Wifi was excellent and for an extra cost there was secure parking on site. Staff all very helpful and pleasant.
Very clean and quiet. I love the concept of integrating guests amidst elderly residents. Friendly reception. Free parking. Nice shared seating areas. Wifi was OK (not super fast, but reliable). Spaciou showers with good pressure and hot water. Appreciated the coffee in the room (but not enough milk).
Nice quiet location with private parking and the lady on the front desk was very pleasant. The apartment itself was a good size with a nice shower room, reasonably well equipped kitchen and a balcony to enjoy the sunset.
Big, plain hotel, but, well situated. The owner was unreceptive! I felt like an imposition. He seemed miserable. The room is quite small. Dated and disorganised. Self decorated I’d say; cheaply. But, bed was good. Shower room is quite big with a good sized cubicle with a good shower. Three towels. Shower gel sachets and a small bar of soap. Hairdryer, tv and heating. It was clean and warm and quiet. It was OK.
Lovely Chambre d'hote with a comfortable and private room, very welcoming hosts and an excellent breakfast. Good location just a mile or so from the centre of Hazebrouck.
