Lovely hosts, fantastic castle, furnished with very good taste. Lovely details such as vintage linnen sheets. Huge rooms, very comfortable. The hosts proudly talk about the history, provide a tour, and also have a mini museum dedicated to Marshall Ney, one of Napoleon’s best known generals, who was hiding in this castle just before being detained. The hosts offer a dinner service as well, on request. Can recommend staying here!

The owner made me feel most welcome, even though my french is not so good we struck up a good conversation, much appreciated as travelling on my own. Its a lovely old house, the kitchen is beautifully modernised where you take breakfast. There is a restaurant very nearby
