Nice property - would stay again. Small B&B with friendly owners who know a lot about the area. Spotless, modern rooms and bathrooms with good quality bedding. Rooms feel like a hotel - much better than others we've stayed at. Towels, toiletries, coffee/tea in the room, TV, great little library with lots of books. Sitting room with sofa for you to sit in, which is needed since the deck/balcony is really small and only accommodates two families.
Nice breakfast. Good options - full English, eggs Benedict, toast, porridge etc.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Breakfast was excellent. The evening meal was also first rate. Hotel was quaint and charming. I will definitely book the hotel if I go to Devizes again.
Comfortable, well equipped room. Compact shower room with a non-slip paper bath mat provided. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit salad starter. Enthusiastic young staff. And Wadworth's 6X on draft.
Good location, lots of sights within 1-2 hours drive. Hotel is quaint and historic, very quirky. Bathtub and breakfast included. Nice and quiet. Large comfortable bed.
Loved the setting, felt very tucked away and private with lovely views, yet minutes away from the centre of Devizes. Great location.
Caroline is a wonderful host and she makes a very impressive breakfast.
I'm sure I'll be back at some point.
Location was perfect. Free parking outside the house, although we drove through a long stay car park with plenty of spaces. So close to other pubs and restaurants, situated right next to the shops. Room was quiet, very warm and comfortable. Becky and Luke were great hosts and very hospitable. Breakfast was just what we ordered - a simple wholesome sausage/bacon sandwich, fresh orange juice and fresh coffee. A lovely overnight stay in a lovely town.
