I stayed with my 7 year old and we had a great sleep. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm and very quiet at night. Staff were all very friendly. From the lovely entrance with the revolving door to the welcoming reception. Has a bar with very reasonable prices and plenty of areas to sit down for relaxing. Breakfast is efficiently organised and cooked really well. Plenty of choice too. Rooms are clean and comfortable and warm. Water temperature and flow was adequate in my bath with shower over. A warm welcome from friendly staff all round, delicious evening meal and super-generous cooked breakfast, with fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and pastries if you wanted. Fresh, clean linen and bathroom. And IMPORTANTLY a charming and unique blend of the old/historic and new in the he decor. Do not EVER 'modernise' this lovely hotel!
