Set in Lochgilphead and only 13 km from Kilmartin House Museum, The Corran offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Excellent location for our sightseeing trip on Kintyre peninsula. Nice bedroom and breakfast room, both well presented in an old house with plenty character. Good views out to Loch Gilp. Good choices at breakfast. Pauline was the perfect host, making sure we were happy with the service provided and very helpful with advice on places to visit and eat. We would definitely recommend the Corran.

The Moorings is situated in Tarbert Lochfyne within Argyll and Bute. This 3-star accommodation offers free WiFi. The rooms in the Moorings are equipped with a kettle.

What a beautiful house and welcoming host (not forgetting the furry, 4-legged hosts!) . The room was so cosy and comfortable that I could have stayed another night. Had a nice view of the castle out my window. So peaceful outside, beautiful bird song filled the air. I didn't have breakfast but I smelled the cooking in the morning and wish I had changed my mind! Really enjoyed my stay here and liked to return. 🙂🙂🙂

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbour-side.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, made me feel very welcome from the off. Went above and beyond to help out when I had an issue with my phone and wallet. Gave me local options for an evening meal if I wanted one. Room was comfortable and clean, shower was very good. Very good breakfast served the following day. All in all felt very much at home.

The breakfast was a marvel. As guests we had perhaps 8 different menu options to choose from, concluding with a vary ample breakfast, which was my choice. Perfect.. The personality and charachter of our hosts was so open and gracious that I would be happy to call them friends. Nothing artificial about them. The property was well conceived, designed and maintained. Great location. What's not to praise.

We were aware of accommodation being 2 bedrooms with a shower room inbetween and a little corridor with some kitchen items and were happy with that. Location is a small hamlet which was pretty and very quiet. Wifi is excellent, however you can't make any phonecalls until you go outside Yvonne, the owner, is very friendly and answers any queries almost immediately. Your dirty dishes are put in a bucket and you leave this outside to be collected by owner and returned later having gone through the dishwasher.

Our stay at The Horseshoe was perfect. A lovely space with everything that we needed. Check in was quick and easy. As it's attached to the pub, we were worried that it would be noisy - in fact, it was quite the reverse! It felt very private and quiet. The food in the pub was excellent.

Great breakfasts, Host Elle and Jim are great! We were there only for a night before getting on the ferry to Islay but it was very comfortable, quiet and quaint.
