The B & B was charming, as were our host and hostess. The room and bathroom were clean and fully stocked. The breakfast was delicious. Our hostess provided guidance for restaurants (not many options during this time of year).

Featuring a garden, Fasgadh Rooms features accommodations in Tarbert. Featuring sea and lake views, this bed and breakfast also comes with free Wifi.

This was perfect - Martyn met me in the street since my GPS brought me to a point about 3 houses too close to the City center. I loved the place - window shutters and very cool louvers inside one window. The bed was verrry comfortable. I saw ferries moving by while resting in bed in the AM. Self-serve tea & biscuits in my room were nice to have. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Great place.

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbor-side.

Had a great conversation with the owner over breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and overlooked the beautiful harbor. I had to check in late because I caught the late ferry from Islay, and the owner was very accommodating.

The breakfast was a marvel. As guests we had perhaps 8 different menu options to choose from, concluding with a vary ample breakfast, which was my choice. Perfect.. The personality and charachter of our hosts was so open and gracious that I would be happy to call them friends. Nothing artificial about them. The property was well conceived, designed and maintained. Great location. What's not to praise.

We were aware of accommodation being 2 bedrooms with a shower room inbetween and a little corridor with some kitchen items and were happy with that. Location is a small hamlet which was pretty and very quiet. Wifi is excellent, however you can't make any phonecalls until you go outside Yvonne, the owner, is very friendly and answers any queries almost immediately. Your dirty dishes are put in a bucket and you leave this outside to be collected by owner and returned later having gone through the dishwasher.

Our stay at The Horseshoe was perfect. A lovely space with everything that we needed. Check in was quick and easy. As it's attached to the pub, we were worried that it would be noisy - in fact, it was quite the reverse! It felt very private and quiet. The food in the pub was excellent.

Great breakfasts, Host Elle and Jim are great! We were there only for a night before getting on the ferry to Islay but it was very comfortable, quiet and quaint.
