Owners of the property are friendly and helpful, they also know English, so it's a bonus!) The views there are breathtaking, the place is surrounded by mountains and the mountain river with clear blue water is like 50 meters from house. They have the softest blankets, so you're sleeping like a baby) As a whole atmosphere there is friendly and warm we've enjoyed every second of our stay.
I've never seen sky so full of stars as I've seen there!! For me it's pure miracle that you can see all constellations and the Milky Way with your own eyes!
I'm traveling with my dog (7 months puppy ~ 17kilos) so for me it was such a relief that everybody there really is pet friendly and wasn't bothered by his presence. Thank you!!!
P.S. you'll need to cross the river to get to the house, but it's less than kilometer away, so if you'll have some problems with it, you can always walk there and ask for help)) If your car isn't suitable for such a road you can arrange a transfer with the owners they have delica, I'm not sure about the price, but the option is there))
Thank you so much for everything!!

I found out about the Fortress House completely randomly and it suprised me with its beauty and history. It’s a place in a village called Khakhabo in Tusheti mountains (3h away from Tbilisi). It’s the only house and hotel you will find there, and it’s surrounded by the remains of old towers, that date back to the 4th century. The place belongs to a married couple, that are the only 2 residents of this city. Paata and his wife Nino decided to stay in this beautiful village to save it from being abandoned, and opened up their place for hikers and tourists to stay and experience one of the last ecologically untouched regions of the country. Besides the magnificent views and amazing hospitality, the food was also out of this world honestly, as everything Nino prepared for us was grown/made by them from scratch.
The place is so excluded, you need to take a few kilometres ride on horses, which was honestly the best part, and no photos can show the actual beauty of it.
For 4h horse riding, and 2 days stay, including delicious breakfast and dinner we payed a crazy low amount of around 400 dhms per person.

Great place, Marina helped us a lot with the transfer from Rosca to Korsha. Beautifully decorated guesthouse, friendly staff. We chose this place at random and we were very lucky. It was cool (it was already October), but the blankets were warm and we didn’t freeze

The guesthouse was cozy and welcoming, with the owner Lela being incredibly kind and attentive. She made delicious homemade food. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in such a beautiful region!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
