The staff here are phenomenal - so friendly and welcoming, they really can't do enough for you. The hotel itself feels very special, set in a 19th century merchant home. It is comfortable whilst retaining the features of an historic building. An excellent breakfast is included and it sets you up for the day. We have a suite with a balcony overlooking the busy street and whilst you get the expected noise, soundproofing is good so it is not disruptive at all. The courtyard pool area is lovely, with a pool that is adequate for cooling off in. Would highly recommend.
Centrally situated in Old Rethymno Town, right on the seafront, this property is just opposite the beach. It features air-conditioned rooms with free wired and Wi-Fi internet.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel, in a triple room with three single beds. The room was spacious enough for three people with a few pieces of luggage. We had a small balcony too, looking at the back side of the hotel (Arkadiou street). The location is very good, right in the city center and only a 15 minute walk from the bus station. Stavros was very kind and helpful, always smiling! The only thing we would have liked would be for the beds to be a bit more comfortable, together with the pillows.
Right in the centre of Rethymno Town, Philikon Luxury Suites has inner courtyard views from the patio. It is situated 1.4 km from Koumbes Beach and offers luggage storage space.

The property was very clean and well equipped. With the added bonus of a washing machine. It is very spacious and light. It is located within the grounds of the family home. It is a modern new apartment. All windows have mosquito netting and electric blinds. The kitchen stools have a fantastic view of the sea and olive grove within the grounds of the property. There is a lovely seating area outside to relax. It had shaded parking for our rental car. It has an electric gate to enter/exit the property.
It is perfectly located in a very quiet and peaceful area, but about 5mins away by car from shops, restaurants and amenities.
Stavi is a a wonderful, helpful and very friendly host.

Julie and Richard are extremely friendly and welcoming people, making you feel at home from the moment you meet them. They are very generous and helpful in accommodating your needs and going far beyond what is expected of them. I can honestly say they are the best hosts I have ever encountered.
Located right at the picturesque Venetian harbour of Rethymno Old Town, Faros rooms & suites features rooms with views of the harbour and the Cretan Sea beyond.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Tastefully decorated. Large kitchen, everything worked. Large shady balcony overlooking main square but quite private.
Good communication. Shared local with laces to visit. Very nice clean and homey surroundings. Free breakfast is a nice thing to offer and nice to go down to. Private balcony and place to dry clothes . Beautiful tiling and bathrooms. Quiet and welcoming environment.
We have stayed here before and the place was as good as we remembered it. A lovely peaceful location but only a few minutes way from Spili. The owner provides a lot of nice little touches like the fresh fruit and other items. It has all the things you would require. The owner checks to see if everything is ok.
Very modern and convenient apartment, situated a little out of town in a very quiet and private area. Absolutely stunning view. Breakfast at the owner’s restaurant in town was plentiful and excellent. Owners very service minded and responded promptly to any request.
A great location with a wonderful view over the mountains. The swimming pool area is very quiet and has a bar next to it. The rooms are cleaned daily. Perfect place to spend holidays!
Good views. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed. Quiet and private location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Perfect base for exploring the wildflowers in this area of Crete.
We loved the villa in Spili, lovely specious house and fantastic pool to relax around when looking for a break from the heat.
Antonis was a great host, always replied promptly to any questions we had which was always appreciated.
Spili is a great location, away from the main tourist areas but close enough to drive by car for a trip out.
We highly recommend the villa and location, and hope to visit again the future.
Wonderful host. Nice, quiet, very clean and very well mentaned hotel. Excellent breakfast with homemade marmelade. We would like to return to this place!
Spili is a nice place, calm even though touristy, but in a good way.
