Cecilia was the most perfect hostess. The property was very clean and quiet and the location was great, just far enough out of town but not too far. The next time we're in the area we will definitely be re-booking.

Michael is a fabulous host. It honestly felt like we were visiting an old friend. From the moment we arrived and he greated us by name, we knew we’d been expected and we felt welcome. Our room was lovely and the electric blanket was a lovely addition. Blinds down, shutters closed we were snug in our bed for the 3 nights we stayed.
The house is beautiful and full of lovingly chosen and placed antiques, including a grand piano. The gardens are gorgeous too.
Breakfast was a wonderful social occasion. All the house guests gather round the huge mahogany table that is laid with matching bone china and silverware. An exceptional continental and full Irish breakfast is freshly cooked and served by Michael and the housekeeper. Michael introduces each guest and breakfast becomes a lazy affair as strangers exchange plans and stories of their travels in Ireland. A true Irish experience.
We also found Michael to be super helpful from helping with luggage, restaurant recommendations to sorting an airport taxi and bus to Slane.
Wholly recommend Collon House.

Great location, comfortable bed and room and lovely host. Highly recommended.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Owner and staff extremely professional and friendly.
Catered to all our needs.
Breakfast was amazing. All local products, fresh fruit from the garden and homemade soda bread and muffins, even freshly squeezed orange juice!!!
What an absolute treasure! This b&b is exceptional. The hosts couldn’t do any more for us. The food is so delicious & all freshly baked. The house itself is quiet & in a great location if attending a wedding at Ballymagarvan village. There is an amazing restaurant not too far up the road called the Snailbox. The gardens around this b&b are fantastic & so well maintained with lots of home grown fruit & veg.
Anne is a great host so Friendly and made the most amazing breakfast with home made bread and home made banana muffins unreal. Slept like a baby the beds were so comfortable and the house was lovely. We stayed here for for a wedding in ballymacarvey village great location for it.
