The Ardawn House was an excellent place to stay. It was a short distance from the Galway city center. The staff were great, the accommodations were darling and food was awesome. We loved it and if we come back to Ireland and this area, we'll definitely come back.

The location is great - only 10-12 minutes walking from city center. It was nice being away from the craziness of the city center, but so closely accessible at the same time. Breakfast in the morning is included and it's lovely - Theresa does it all herself so you feel like you're right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, everything you would need for a stay. There is parking on site; however, the lot is very small and its first come, first serve. We did have to park on the street one night due to this, but no big deal at all! You just download the Galway City Parking app and the fee is minimal with parking after 6:30 pm being free until 8:30 am the next morning.

We loved everything about this exceptional place! We upgraded our room to a beautiful suite facing a gorgeous bay and walking distance to a lovely promenade with a public beach. Fred and Michelle were exceptional hosts and they created an experience which far exceeded our expectations.
