Eileen and Brendan were exceptional hosts, so welcoming, so informative and we were made to feel like one of the family! We were sad to leave.
Achill island is absolutely stunning scenery!
Themed rooms inspired by places such as Australia, Brazil and Kenya feature at this unique and lively lodge, which specialises in kitesurfing and watersports.

We were staying in the room at the front of the building, which had outstanding views of the cliffs near Minaun Heights. The room was huge and we had plenty of space to organise our belongings! Breakfast was included in our booking, and even with our early check out, they provided us with a small basket of bread and fruits. The attached pub had excellent food, and was lively, but you could not hear the noise in the rooms quarter at all (good sound proofing maybe?). Our car was parked across the street, and with street lights nearby, it felt secure.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location over looking Dooagh town. Walking distance from pubs and restaurants. Lovely room with balcony and stunning views. Bathtub in the bedroom was fancy!
Breakfast served between half 8 and 9 was delicious. Beautiful views over dooagh beach.
About a 25 minute walk to closest pub/restaurant
The house is situated on a beautiful quiet 'famine walk' which we really enjoyed.
A 5 or 10 minute drive to keel beach and keem beach. A 10 minute walk to dooagh beach but I don't think you can swim in that beach.
Teresa was very friendly and helpful to us
Great location, close to everything we wanted to see. Quiet, with great views. Varied selection for breakfast. It was like staying over at a friend's house as Jake welcomed us warmly and encouraged us to have the run of the place.

Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
