This place is amazing! The price is unbeatable, the location super authentic, the hosts are so kind and helpful that they even helped us for sending a package in the Indian Post Office! The rooms are spacious, clean and with good bathrooms! Great views from the terrace and free filtered drinking water

Its a nice enough hotel. The rooms were really quite big and had air con. They had a nice colonial feel to them. Wi fi was also available free of charge. The setting, down an alleyway lets it down, but hey ho its bang in the middle of town.
As in a lot of places in India hot water was hit and miss, although compared to some places we have stayed more hit than miss.
We knew that the hotel didnt have a restaurant, but in the vacinity there were very few choices of places to eat.
Cant really think of anything else to say really. It was somewhere to sleep at a very reasonable price.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
A Bit old fashioned hotel with limited facilities and very reasonable price with, Airconditioner, attached bathroom and geyser.
Though a little far away from city centre. Location is very peaceful and quiet. Good connectivity to all parts of the city.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed my stay there and definitely will visit again.
great location as it's near the city center but completely quiet. Lovely gardens and pool. Food at the restaurant was good. Every tuktuk knows the hotel so easy to get back home hehe
Very nice staff! Especially the junior-manager from the restaurant, Monica, was extremly helpful and asked my wife to join the woman's day photo of all female staff of the hotel - this was deeply moving for my wife!
We had the best room choice, an open private pool, quiet and very elegant ;-)
This property is great value for money - rooms are spacious and clean, the staff and in particular the manager went out of their way to assist us during our stay. The hotel is also very quiet, as it is located away from the city centre and main areas of interest for visitors/tourists. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is located near Appam and Hoppers, a really good Sri Lankan cuisine restaurant.
Stayed 3 nights in February. (Previously stayed 1 night in Madurai north of river near Lake Vandiyur but it was a long way from the city centre.) Check-in OK. Room with usual facilities: fan, hot water, TV. Bed comfortable. Room and sheets seemed clean. Old lift operating. Well located for main temple, restaurants, shops and railway. Fairly quiet on upper floor. Good view of temple from rooftop, if you ignore the mobile phone towers.
This boutique hotel was located in a quiet safe location reasonably close to the Meenakshi Amman temple.
Management was very helpful and attentive.
All of the staff responded to every request promptly .
Breakfast was delicious and varied and the restaurant itself was convenient and of good quality.
Rooms were really cleaned, maintained daily and beds were comfortable.
Extremely fair exchange rate on foreign currency.
I would recommend this hotel and book again
Very pleased.
This hotel was flawless. For around 1300 INR I got a clean room with a private bathroom and AC. Also it was quiet through the night and I got an amazing nights sleep. Many other hotels could learn from this place. Well done Manis, I'll be back! ✌️🙏🥰
Quiet location, excellent restaurant, comfortable bed. The decor is quirky which includes lots of carved wooden fixtures in Tamil style. The staff are attentive and charming. The pool is wonderful in the 30 degree heat.
