United StatesLovely, peaceful setting on the lake. Fun watching the birds. The staff was always available if we needed anything. They arranged a tour of the backwaters for us. Early breakfast is toast and eggs, but if you wait until 9:00 you can get a Keralan breakfast. Also, you can have dinner delivered and eat on your verandah. A canoe is available for your use, but it was raining so we didn't use it.

United KingdomThe host and care taker are amazing They communicate with us well and help us with everything we need. The host is very very kind He picked us up from the train station and took us to Amma Ashram 😊. The room is a clean, comfortable bed and very good location and beautiful view from the lake.As well for transport you can use the bicycle which makes it easy to move around the places around the area are beautiful and the breakfast is very tasty great coffee or tea masala and a lot of variety.. I highly recommended this place to anyone 😊

He recommended a restaurant and sent us to a temple festival. We can recommend doing the boat tour to see the sunrise. He also helped us with the next part of our trip. Beautiful spot along the water, gorgeous and charming wood bungalow, in perfect condition, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (multiple power sources,… ). The staff is extremely nice, helpful and professional. This place has been by far our best experience during our 2 weeks in Kerala. Toilet was also big and very clean. Very cheap laundry and you can rent bikes to go around or kayaks. The view from the hostel is beautiful and you can observe fisherman nearby every morning. The host can provide with dinner and lunch since around the hostel there is not much.
