Lovely, peaceful setting on the lake. Fun watching the birds. The staff was always available if we needed anything. They arranged a tour of the backwaters for us. Early breakfast is toast and eggs, but if you wait until 9:00 you can get a Keralan breakfast. Also, you can have dinner delivered and eat on your verandah. A canoe is available for your use, but it was raining so we didn't use it.

The cleanest and the brightest I’ve ever seen in India (and in general while traveling) Modern design, comfortable, and elegant. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable!! There’s a big common room with coaches, TV and food table, two kitchens and more… The staff was the best part of our experience!! So nice and so hospitable, always making sure you feel comfortable, and at breakfast they will make sure you will be full for the whole day. Sandra Eco is a lovely verdant Cul de Sac in Varkala with all the amenities in walking distance. We really enjoyed sitting by the pool, listening to the wind in the trees. Mongoose playing in the garden, butterflies and birds. Rooms are spacious and clean with AC and a nice bathroom. Staff is very helpful and nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
